Use your website domain address for the app

Not included on Free and Starter plans

By default, the website address for the app in the browser address bar will be for example, "yourcompany.mapitapp.co.uk".

Custom domain allows you to remove the reference to mapitapp.co.uk and change this to, for example, "quote.yourcompany.co.uk". A DNS record change will be required and instructions provided.

Your email domain to send emails generated by the app

Not included on Free and Starter plans

By default, emails will be delivered by [email protected].

Emails from own domain allows you to change this to, for example, "[email protected]".

A DNS record change will be required and instructions provided.

Standard auto emails on the Trial, Starter Plan and Corporate plan include: –

  1. Welcome email to the customer upon registering details
  2. Quote acknowledgement email to the customer upon requesting a quote
  3. Quote request email to your business including customer details, area mapped as google earth kml file, any other files uploaded along with customer comments and services required.

Display services information within the app

Not included on Free and Starter

"Info" icons will be added to the "Services" tick boxes offered on your quote tool. These icons when clicked by the customer, load a popup window with 3 sample images and text fields informing the customer about the service

A content request form will be sent by us, detailing the information required to update your version of the app.

Customer account area

Only available on bespoke Enterprise plans

With this feature enabled, customers may log in and view all their quotation requests along with progress updates for instructed quotes and a download/share facility for completed reports.

In app payments

Only available on bespoke Enterprise plans

With this feature enabled, you may upload a quote to the app which will automatically notify your customer that the quote is ready. Should they wish to proceed, the customer may charge the works to a credit account or make a debit/credit card payment to instruct the works. Alternative invoicing and access details can be provided by the customer as part of this process.

Progress updates

Only available on bespoke Enterprise plans

The customer account area stores all quotes requests and instructed work orders placed through the app. Instructed work orders have a 5 part progress meter, keep this updated to make sure your customer is always in the loop.
